Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer known as one of the members of the band One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1 1994. He's the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Though he's been fascinated by music, he also hoping to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. As a worker in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to support his family. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. This is why his band was split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the potential winners for the award. Despite this, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't place, but Cowell still paid 2 million pounds in cash to One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
