Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, and actor from the US. She is best known for her work as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has an extremely troubled family. She spent the majority of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who was afflicted by polio. Growing up, she had difficulties with her mom. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father for being too close with her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from college. Her passions were in comedy. The show was named the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. She started her TV career as frequently performing on The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000, she hosted Oh Drama! Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being in The Talk as co-host. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
