Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop star, is one who has managed to cross over from country music to mainstream pop culture, becoming an idol of the pop culture. She also conquered all over the world in the process. Swift dropped country as if it was another layer and proved that she's possibly the most intelligent pop singer/songwriter of her time. A person who has the ability to tap into the mood of times to make her music personal and also sing in the other direction. It was apparent in her early songs, particularly in her neo pay homage to Tim McGraw. On her second release Fearless (2008), Swift revealed a singer/songwriter who was beginning to know herself. Fearless was a big hit not only in the United States where its Top Ten singles Love Story, and You Belong with Me helped it to break six platinum records but also around the world. It was a huge success across Canada, Australia and the U.K. Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago consolidated her previous successes, propelling the singer into superstardom. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017), her popularity increased and she became part of a music scene where it was clear that she belonged. When she reduced her sound with the stripped-down releases of 2020, folklore and Evermore, she still remained on top. It was a position that was confirmed by re-recordings from her past catalog as along with Midnights which was her chart-topping synth heavy 2022 album.
