Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place April 16 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a banker in the past. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English roots. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' previous marriages. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
