Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim because of her portrayal of powerful yet vulnerable character. Linney came from a family of actors her father was a playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she received her degree at Brown University. She then trained in the Theatre Arts program at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first destination in the year 1990. It was 1990 when she launched the beginning of her Broadway career. Her work was highly acclaimed by critics for Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
